The questions we get every day, answered once, honestly.
When are you open?
Every day, 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM — weekends and public holidays included. No booking needed for a normal visit.
Do I have to buy something?
No. Entry is free and about half our visitors on any given day are here to walk, look, and photograph. Frequent walkers have a way of becoming customers eventually; we’re patient.
How long should I budget?
A fast pass through all four floors takes about 45 minutes. A real visit — the kind where you open drawers and get lost on the lighting floor — is two hours. Collectors and designers routinely lose a half day. If you’re on a schedule, treat one hour as the minimum that won’t feel like a mistake.
What’s actually here?
Mid-century Scandinavian and European furniture, Japanese and Thai vintage, industrial pieces, lighting from desk lamps to chandeliers, art, signage, ceramics, toys, and a long tail of objects that fit no category. Stock changes constantly — the building you walk this month is not the building you’ll walk in three months.
Can I take photos?
Yes — personal photography is welcome everywhere. Commercial shoots, fashion editorials, and film work use our studio and prop-rental service instead; contact us in advance and we’ll set you up properly.
How do I get there?
We’re at 405/1 Sukhaphiban 5 Road, Bang Khen. The realistic answer is taxi or Grab — show the driver “PAPAYA Design Furniture & Studio”. There’s parking at the building if you drive.
Can you deliver what I buy?
Yes — Bangkok delivery is routine, and we arrange export crating and shipping for overseas buyers. Ask about delivery before you fall in love with a three-meter cabinet, not after.
