In July 2024, THE STANDARD called us Thailand’s largest antique and vintage store — then went looking for the weirdest things in the building.

The four pieces they couldn’t walk past

Their writers skipped the safe choices and picked the strange ones: a boomerang-shaped desk by French sculptor Maurice Calka, an armchair shaped like an elephant by Bernard Rancillac, genuine airplane seats waiting for a second life in someone’s living room, and a vintage dental chair that makes a surprisingly good reading spot — once you stop thinking about dentists.
